Twilight Zone v1 / Four Color v2 #1173 (#1), 1961 - Two years after the first episode aired, Rod Serling's tv show also becomes a popular comic book series. This first issue features short stories with the same unexpected twists: a ghostly fisherman, a pre-cognitive handyman and a merchant whose ancient jar can bestow youth. After four tryout issues, a second volume of this series begins in earnest. The interiors were written by Leo Dorfman and Paul S. Newman and drawn by Reed Crandall and George Evans.
