Showcase v1 #79, 1968 - Deep in the ocean, two military divers search for documents in a downed Navy ship. There they encounter a woman who can breathe underwater and take her to the surface for questioning. Dolphin, as the sailors name her, learns the language and aids in the mission. Her origin and abilities remain unexplained in this first appearance. Years later she would surface as one of the Forgotten Heroes. This story was written and drawn by Jay Scott Pike.
