Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #56 - Carl Barks art

Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #56
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #56, 1945 - Unaware of his own sleepwalking and midnight snacking, Donald Duck blames Huey Louie and Dewey instead and punishes them accordingly. The artwork by Carl Barks is dependably drawn with little distinction. The most interesting scene depicts Donald waking from a sleepwalk, triggering flashbacks of military combat. His screech of a "jap attack" will always tie the story to its World War II-era publication. Cover by Carl Buettner. This is 25 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks
