Dazzler v1 #1, 1981 - After debuting in X-men #130, Marvel's first and only disco-themed heroine begins her own series with this heavily promoted first issue. A professional singer and performer, Allison Blaire uses her light powers to entertain her audiences. She may be the only mutant to fight bad guys while wearing roller skates. Note that this is Marvel's first direct-only comic, with no newsstand equivalent. This Tom DeFalco story was drawn by John Romita Jr. and Alfredo Alcala.
