Bionic Woman v1 #1, 1977 - Spinning off from the Six Million Dollar Man series, the Bionic Woman begins her own solo adventures starting with this first issue. Her television show premiered the year before in 1976. After surviving a skydiving accident, Jaime Sommers is fitted with bionic implants in her arm, legs and ear. Both interior stories were written by Joe Gill. Jack Sparling did the artwork and does a credible job matching the likeness of actress Lindsay Wagner. Cover by Sparling. /// key 1st issue
