Marvel Comics Presents v1 #40, 1989 - Under the guise of "Patch", Wolverine seeks answers in the seediest parts of Hong Kong. Marshall Rogers' cover places him on a Chinese junk ship, instantly placing him in a foreign locale. That aside, his figure drawing is stiff and his layout found wanting. His back cover featuring Hercules and Wonder Man is even worse. Even the artist's trademark graytones are not enough to bring the work up to his usual standards. Other artists in this issue include John Buscema, Bob Layton and Don Heck. This is 4 of 4 Marvel Comics Presents issues by Rogers. /// original Rogers cover
