(Luke Cage) Hero for Hire v1 #12 16, 1973 - Luke forms a partnership with fellow ex-cons to prove his girl's innocence. Meanwhile, the real murderer is at large and holding a hostage. Intent on putting all of them away is Stiletto, who fires razor sharp flechettes from devices on his wrists. His exit from the story is just as sudden as his entrance. By the next issue, Luke would adopt a name more suitable for a super-hero. This Tony Isabella story was drawn by Billy Graham and Frank McLaughlin.
