Atom v1 #1, 1962 - Exiled from his own dimension, Jason Woodrue uses his knowledge of plants to commit fantastic crimes. Ray Palmer intervenes in costume as the Atom, only to discover wood nymphs at his enemy's command. This first issue, following the hero's first appearance in Showcase #34, has one full length feature rather than the typical pair of shorter stories. Woodrue would later be known as the Floronic Man. This Gardner Fox story was drawn by Gil Kane and Murphy Anderson. Cover by Kane and Anderson.
