Weird Fantasy v2 #19 |
Weird Fantasy v2 #19, 1953 - In the distant future, a spaceman heads off to war in a spaceship equipped with an advanced electronic brain. Despite the small panels and abundant dialogue, Al Williamson's efforts are admirable. His painterly style infuses the tale with movement and spontaneity. The first two pages are particularly good, firmly establishing the setting and characters. Other artists in this golden age science fiction comic include Will Elder, Jack Kamen and John Severin. Cover by Joe Orlando. This is 6 of 8
