E-Man v1 #1, 1973 - A being of pure energy wanders around the galaxy for eons, until it encounters a weaponized alien spaceship. Unexpectedly crashing on Earth, the being learns to transform himself into matter, specifically a human male. After learning of Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, he adopts the name E-man. In a separate tale, a secret spy organization called C.H.E.S.S is revealed. Led by the Knight, they send various agents on a new mission. Both stories were written by Nicholas Cuti and drawn by Joe Staton (E-Man) and Tom Sutton (Knight).
