Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #220
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #220, 1959 - Donald Duck plays with his nephews' chemistry set, inadvertently adding an outside ingredient. The resulting liquid, nicknamed "weemite", turns out to be a powerful new explosive. Carl Barks' funniest scenes are where they test its limits, with overwhelming results. Contrasting the excitement, the artist begins and ends the tale with a relaxing Christmas dinner. This story was later reprinted in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #412. Other artists in this golden age comic include Paul Murry. This is 178 of 278 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
