Jungle Action v2 #6, 1973 - T'Challa returns to his beloved Wakanda, only to find parts of it overtaken by a man called Erik Killmonger. Since his dramatic debut in the mid-1960s, the Black Panther made multiple appearances in Fantastic Four, Tales of Suspense and the Avengers. Not until this series does the hero get his own regular feature. Since the previous issue was a reprint, this is actually the start of the Panther's first ongoing series. Don McGregor's story was drawn by Rich Bucker and Klaus Janson. Cover by Buckler and Frank Giacoia.
