Doom Patrol #99 |

Doom Patrol v1 #99, 1965 - In the issue's backup tale, the Doom Patrol are perplexed by the animal-themed clues left around their headquarters. After setting a trap, they ensnare a teenage boy with green skin. Beast Boy's ability to change into different creatures affords him a trial run with the team. Weirdly enough, his animal forms still have a semblance of his green face. By the 1980s, Gar Logan could completely change into animals, albeit green-hued. Joining the new Teen Titans in DC Comics Presents #26 also called for a new name: Changeling. This Arnold Drake story was drawn by Bob Brown. Cover by Brown. /// key 1st appearance, 1st cameo cover appearance Gar Logan as Beast Boy
