Warlord v1 #1, 1976 - Travis Morgan continues his adventures on Skartaris, a world deep inside our hollow Earth with its own climate and populace. Magic and medieval weaponry exist side by side in this savage environment. This first issue briefly recaps the character's origin in 1st Issue Special #8, including meeting his sword wielding companion Tara. Written and drawn by Mike Grell, this was one of DC's longest running sci-fi fantasy titles of the bronze age. Cover by Grell.
