Batman v1 #365, 1983 - Traveling to Guatemala, Vicki Vale follows a convoy of arms into the heart of an ancient pyramid. The Batman, not surprisingly, comes to her rescue. Despite the heavy-handed inks of Alfredo Alcala, Don Newton manages to assert himself in several key scenes. Batman's arrival in the country (pages 12-18) is superbly drawn, including the full page splash of native marauders. Cover art by Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano. This is 20 of 32 Batman issues by Newton.
