All American Men of War v2 #71
All American Men of War v2 #71, 1959 - Comprised of two soldiers, a bazooka team itches for battle while looking for Nazi tanks. This self-described "Tank Killer" tale is meticulously drawn, from the chaotic opening splash to the explosive ending. Once again, Joe Kubert depicts the toughness of the men who fought in WWII almost better than anyone. Superb detailing appears throughout the lengthier-than-usual tale (see interior page below). This story was later reprinted in G.I. Combat #147. Other artists in this golden age comic include Russ Heath, Win Mortimer, Morris Waldinger, Tom Nicolosi and Mort Drucker. This is 35 of 46 All American Men of War issues by Kubert.
