Excalibur v1 #11, 1989 - Rachel Summers and Shadowcat spend quality time to get to know each other better. Meanwhile, Nightcrawler sets up a trap for his Nazi doppelganger. A humorous tone pervades this issue, somewhat tailor-made for
Marshall Rogers. His drawings reflect that through the characters' expressions. Overall, his art and layouts are a step down from the previous issue. His opening page is mediocre at best. Same goes for his cover, which chooses to obscure the team members and the looming threat.
