Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #244 |
Walt Disney's Comics and Stories v1 #244, 1961 - At Duckburg's missile base, several rockets inexplicably explode upon launch. Can a broom pusher named Donald Duck find the culprit? Carl Barks gives it away when he names one of the characters Professor Slyrat (Sly Rat). In addition to the terrific drawings, scale and perspective play a big role in the story. Barks renders the scenes quite skillfully. This story was later reprinted in >Donald Duck Adventures #19. Other artists in this issue include Al Hubbard. This is 204 of 280 Walt Disney's Comics and Stories issues by Barks.
