Out of This World v2 #12, 1959 - In two separate tales, a scientist increases the intelligence of a mutated ant and a jungle explorer returns with a spooky tribal doll. Steve Ditko draws both with an eye toward page design and careful pacing. His renditions could have benefited from greater sharpness and clarity, much like his compelling cover. I only wish the contest promo blurb was a bit less distracting. Other artists in this golden age science fiction comic include Rocco Mastroserio and Sal Trapani. This is 10 of 11 Out of This World v2 issues by Ditko.
