Savage Sword of Conan #162 - Al Williamson art

Savage Sword of Conan #162
Savage Sword of Conan v1 #162, 1989 - In a back-up feature, Solomon Kane returns to an unnamed village after decades of traveling the world. At the tavern, a crowd gathers to hear his stories that defy belief. Eleven of the twelve splashes rely almost solely on imagery to capture each adventure. The quality of Al Williamson's inks somewhat vary across the twenty-plus pages. Still, their improvements over Steve Carr's pencils are quite obvious. Other artists in this copper age issue include Jorge Zaffino. This is 1 of 3 Savage Sword of Conan issues by Williamson.
