Epic Illustrated v1 #4, 1980 - On a decimated world, Vance and Aknaton locate the artificial man tasked with guarding the ultimate weapon. The various tints and tones of Jim Starlin's paintings have an almost somber quality to them. The artist's black framing on the panels certainly contributes to this.
