Marvel Premiere v1 #15, 1974 - Traversing through a remote area of the Himalayas, young Danny Rand must reckon with the sudden deaths of his parents. Miraculously, he's taken in by the immortals of K'un-Lun Mountain and spends his life training as a martial arts fighter. Iron Fist makes his first appearance in this two-part origin story. Obviously reflecting the kung fu fad of the 1970s, Iron Fist is only the second hero in this genre. This Roy Thomas story was drawn by Gil Kane and Dick Giordano. Cover by Kane.
