Incredible Hulk v2 #141, 1971 - Extracting the Hulk's gamma-induced "psychic force", psychiatrist Leonard Samson uses it to save the life of Betty Ross. Shortly afterward, the residue from the experiment enables him to turn himself into a superhero. Doc Samson makes his first appearance, sporting green hair and combining both strength and intellect.
