X-Men v1 #211, 1986 - Beneath the city, a team of Marauders kill some of the Morlocks who call the underground their home. Arclight, Harpoon, Malice, Scalphunter, Scrambler and Riptide make their first full appearances. Word eventually reaches the X-Men, who organize a rescue and counter-attack. Al Williamson inks his last issue on the series, finishing Bret Blevins' and John Romita Jr.'s pencils. It's a slight improvement from his previous efforts, but not enough to make it particularly noteworthy. Cover by Romita Jr. and Bob Wiacek.
