Amazing Spider-man v1 #34, 1966 - By impersonating Spidey and confronting Jonah Jameson in public, Kraven the Hunter draws out his hated foe for a rematch. Although he premiered earlier, the villain looks far better on this dynamic Steve Ditko cover. Simple yes, but clear and focused. Despite the weak renditions of jungle cats, the artist's effort and enthusiasm more than make up for it. This is 34 of 38 Amazing Spider-Man issues by Ditko.
