At the same time, the sentinel Master Mold emerges from the nearby waters. Walt Simonson opens with his own interesting depiction of Dark Phoenix dominating her other personas. His layouts inside are well planned, while his pencils are mostly competent. Dan Green temporarily steps in as the inker. This is 4 of 26 X-Factor issues by Simonson.
