Star Reach v1 #1, 1975 - In this premiere issue, Jim Starlin features a manifestation of death in two of his three stories. Both are exceptionally drawn and composed, each page scrutinous in detail. Stylistically, the work is on par with his runs on Captain Marvel and Warlock from the same period. Walt Simonson's tale appears to precede the publication date, evidenced by the primitive and unpolished results. All Starlin stories were later reprinted in Star Reach Classics #1. Other artists in this issue include Howard Chaykin. Note that there may be 2nd and 3rd printings of this issue with variations in the cover price.
