Meanwhile, a fiery sage recounts a lost memory of Thor's first encounter with the Eternals. Walt Simonson's style is evident on the cover, but lacks the effort of his earlier works. Despite the long page length, his story art is even worse. Ernie Chan's inks soften the impact of the pencils, making this issue more similar to Simonson's forgettable first run on Thor.
