Creepy #102 - Walt Simonson art

Creepy #102
Creepy v1 #102, 1978 - An old fisherman and his grandson disappear at sea, prompting a search by local villagers. Greytones and textures nicely enhance the usually flat line drawings of Walt Simonson. The dynamism of his style is very much present. Klaus Janson's inks add depth while maintaining the integrity of the pencils. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Abel Laxamana, Alfredo Alcala, Isidro Mones, Joe Vaultz and Leo Duranona. Cover by Patrick Woodroffe. This is 4 of 7 Creepy issues by Simonson. /// Simonson gallery

Weird cover- I can’t make out what is being depicted but it seems to involve a map, Tommy guns, and a segmented worm with sharp teeth.

I agree. A weird cover among many in the Warren publishing line.
