Goofy Comics #28 - Frank Frazetta art

Goofy Comics #28
Goofy Comics v1 #28, 1948 - A puppy wants to show he can herd sheep as well as anyone, while a cat named Jesse James Pussyfoot terrorizes a poor mouse. Both text stories benefit from Frank Frazetta's artistry. "Cometoo the Pup" meets expectations, but "The Roaring Cat" is notable for having two unusually large illustrations. The drawings themselves are terrific, but their sheer scale makes them more memorable. The first page shown below is the smaller of the two. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Bradbury. This is 9 of 16 Goofy Comics issues by Frazetta.
