Forbidden Worlds v1 #137, 1966 - After killing a warlock, a village woodsman is cursed when years later, one of his two sons becomes the epitome of evil. Steve Ditko's simplistic drawings reside within mostly crowded panels. The page layouts are largely mediocre (see interior page below). Finally, Sal Trapani's inks hurt, rather than help, the overall aesthetic. Other artists in this silver age science fiction comic include Paul Reinman, Tom Hickey, Ogden Whitney and Kurt Schaffenberger. This is 1 of 3 Forbidden Worlds issues by Ditko.
