Daredevil Man without Fear v1 #1, 1993 - Frank Miller expands upon DD's origin, writing this five part limited series while allowing others to do the artwork. Stick is incorporated in the story for the first time, as well as other new details. Artistically, Al Williamson's inks add an increased fluidity to John Romita Jr.'s pencils. The embossed cover and slick paper stock adds little to the book's overall aesthetic. Like many of his later works, Williamson's linework is precise and purposeful. This is 1 of 5 Daredevil Man without Fear issues by Williamson. /// key 1st issue- - - - - - - - - -
