Witzend v1 #7, 1970 -
Steve Ditko lays out his own personal philosophy, continuing his preaching from the previous issue. Mostly splashes, the artist deserves credit for the attempt to visualize his ideas. His opening pages are mediocre, but later ones incorporate more thought and details into the compositions.
Bernie Wrightson features a character named Limpstrel in two separate singe page stories. These vignettes seem personal, with a touch of humor and irony. The drawings are early in his career, but already show great artistic potential. Both Limpstrel tales were later reprinted in >
