Archer & Armstrong v1 #1, 1992 - Part of the publisher's Unity storyline, the duo are transported to another reality where they join Rai, Magnus Robot Fighter and other heroes within the Valiant universe. Barry Smith's illustrations meet expectations, aided by Bob Layton's coherent inking. The quirkiness of the series is exemplified by Frank Miller's cover. It has no relation to the interior story, but it's part of a larger design comprised of eight covers from eight different Valiant titles.
