Tales From the Crypt #31 |
Tales From the Crypt v1 #31, 1952 - Set in the Everglades, a string of murders leads a sheriff and deputy to a remote hermit's shack. Al Williamson's renderings are fluid and painterly, yet gritty. Spanish moss hangs menacingly from the mangroves and roots ooze with viscosity. Although better known for science fiction, Williamson proves himself equally adept at horror stories. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jack Davis and Graham Ingels. This is 1 of 1
