Strange Worlds #3 - Wally Wood, Al Williamson / Frank Frazetta art

Strange Worlds v1 #3, 1951 - Alien raiders take over Titan for its uranium mines, prompting Kenton of the Space Patrol to take action. In one of his earliest science fiction tales, Wally Wood clearly shows an enthusiasm for the genre through fine detailing on the story page and inside front cover. A second sci-fi tale, "Invasion from the Abyss" is even better. Drawn by Al Williamson, his skillful pencils are delineated by the smooth brushwork of Frank Frazetta and Roy Krenkel. Heavy with dialogue, the artwork nonetheless stands out for its sheer beauty. This golden age comic includes cover art by Everett Raymond Kinstler. This is 1 of 1 Strange Worlds issues by Frazetta, 1 of 1 Strange Worlds issues by Williamson and 2 of 5 Strange World issues by Wood.
