Love Romances v1 #77, 1958 - Out of three Matt Baker tales in this issue, two are lackluster in both drawing and composition. Vince Colletta's inks mostly dominate the story pages (as well as the cover). Only remnants of Baker's pencils remain. By contrast, "I Left My Heart On The Other Side of the Tracks" stands out due to its fluid draftsmanship. This tale, of a working class girl whose family strikes it rich, shows a bit more enthusiasm by the artist. Other artists in this golden age comic include Jay Scott Pike. This is 5 of 12 Love Romances issues by Baker.
