World's Finest Comics v1 #265, 1980 - When mountains fall and the oceans rise across the planet, Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. source the cause to a trio of familiar villains. Don Newton's art consistently outperforms the rest of the issue, even as he nears the midpoint of his run. Inker Frank Chiaramonte maintains the detail and texture in many scenes, especially the mountainous settings (see interior page below). This story was later reprinted in Shazam! The World's Mightiest Mortal #3. Other artists in this copper age comic include Ric Estrada ad Dick Giordano. Cover by Jim Aparo.
