Wyatt Earp #26 - Jack Kirby cover

Jack Kirby
Wyatt Earp v1 #26, 1959 - Standing slightly off-center, Earp confronts three brothers in the town saloon. Jack Kirby's depth of field is reinforced by the division of color. The monochromatic trio separates from the title character quite easily. The artist adds a nice touch with the inclusion of the drawn gun the foreground. Is Earp aware of it or not? The reader decides. Other artists in this golden age comic include Dick Ayers. This is 4 of 5 Wyatt Earp issues by Kirby
