Eerie v3 #6, 1966 - Approaching a wealthy jeweler on a city street, a vagrant entices the man with a large, perfectly cut ruby. Steve Ditko's lushly illustrated tale takes us inside the gem's dizzying hellscape, complete with winged demons. His gray washes make his otherwise flat drawings more realistic and dimensional. This story was later reprinted in both >Creepy #25 and the Eerie v3 1972 annual. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include John Severin, Angelo Torres and Reed Crandall. This is 4 of 8 Eerie issues by Ditko.
