All-Star Western v2 #2 presents Outlaw and El Diablo, 1970 - Oddly enough, the first issue of this series contained only reprints, making this issue the first with new material. The Outlaw and El Diablo make their first appearances in separate stories. A deadly confrontation between father and son is superbly captured on Neal Adams' cover. His exceptional drawing stands out, even amidst all the surrounding text. Making the scene more intense is the use of diagonals, from the triangular-shaped corners to the italicized masthead to the main character's stance. El Diablo's debut is written by Robet Kanigher and drawn by Gray Morrow. - - - - - - - - - -
