John Byrne |
Namor the Sub-mariner v1 #1, 1990 - Surfacing in the Pacific, the Sub-mariner befriends a marine biologist and his daughter. After revealing his origin to them, Namor hires them for a new undisclosed mission. John Byrne embarks on a new chapter of the character's life with this first issue. His masterful drawings fill every page, aided by Bob Wiacek's outstanding inking. The double-page splash on pages 2-3 capture Namor's anguish far more than the similarly-themed cover. This is 1 of 25 Namor the Sub-Mariner issues by Byrne. ///
