In a separate tale, Dale aids a friend from losing her inheritance to her unscrupulous brother. Russ Manning demonstrates great skill in both pacing and layout in his last issue of the series. His drawings are well-crafted with just the right amount of detail.  In both stories, the outdoor scenes suggest the town's spaciousness and rural beauty.
