Eerie v3 #72 |
Eerie v3 #72, 1976 - Hired as a bodyguard on a German zeppelin, Reuben Youngblood unearths a fiendish plot involving Nazi vampires. Howard Chaykin pencils border on the amateurish, but
Bernie Wrightson does his best to lend a hand. His painterly inks add clarity to some of the pages. Some panels are better than others, with most having a neutral effect. Wrightson's inside front cover (unrelated) is a far better effort, featuring a twisted view of Santa Claus. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Luis Berjemo, Jose Ortiz and Paul Neary. This is 14 of 14
