House of Mystery #66 - Jack Kirby art

House of Mystery #66
House of Mystery v1 #66, 1957 - Two lifelong buddies have their friendship tested when one accuses the other of stealing his story ideas. Jack Kirby seems to relish the opportunities provided by the tale's setting of a medieval-style castle. This and other scenarios are drawn with a confident line. While less fantastical than his other House of Mystery stories, Kirby's artwork is no less impressive. This story was later reprinted in Super DC Giant #S-20. Other artists in this golden age comic include Ruben Moreira. This is 4 of 11 House of Mystery issues by Kirby. /// Kirby gallery
