Creepy #106 - Jim Starlin art

Creepy #106
Creepy v1 #106, 1979 - Transporting from another dimension, a warlock lands on Earth and inadvertently becomes a Major League Baseball hero. This tale of sports and sorcery is capably drawn by Jim Starlin. The multi-figured battle scene on page 2 (see interior page below) is among his signature traits. Teaming up with inker Joe Rubenstein, the artwork surpasses the sometimes tepid layouts. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Larry Hama and Val Mayerik. This is 1 of 2 Creepy issues by Starlin.
