While straightforward in theme, the artist adds some splendid touches. The gothic arch in the background suggests a church more than a high school. Its shape also visually connects the two interested parties. Note the lightning bolts on the blonde's dress, suggesting a spark perhaps? Kirby's efforts are augmented by a talented, uncredited inker.
