Dark Horse Presents v1 #51, 1991 - Continued from the Dark Horse Presents 5th Anniversary Special, FFrank Miller's Sin City begins its serialized run on this series. Marv becomes a fugitive from the police, but determines to find Goldie's killer. Miller's cover is a bit basic for my tastes, but his story art is both gritty and compelling. Out of eight pages, four are splashes used to heighten the excitement. This episode was later reprinted in the Sin City trade paperback. Other artists in this issue include Paul Guinan. This is 1 of 13 Dark Horse Presents issues by Miller.
