Retired railroad man Cliff Merritt witnesses his own nephew as a candidate for union leadership. The story roughly covers the election progress, though the theme is still very much pro-union. Like the aforementioned issue, Al Williamson delivers an exceptional piece of work. His realistic style is superbly coupled with the ordinary, every day American settings. The characters are drawn with distinctiveness and individualism. Williamson's pencils are streamlined further by his cleanly applied inks.
