Eerie v3 #63 - Bernie Wrightson art

Eerie v3 #63
Eerie v3 #63, 1975 - Cousin Eerie sets the tone for issue, calling attention to the rickety bridge and skull-shaped cabin in the distance. His only work in the issue, Bernie Wrightson still delivers an excellent splash that combines both humor and horror. His distribution of lights and darks is masterful, adding greater depth and drama to the dreary scene. Like this example, Wrightson's best work of the mid to late 70s often occurred in Warren publications. Other artists in this bronze age magazine include Esteban Maroto and Jose Ortiz. This is 6 of 14 Eerie issues by Wrightson.
